The idea of this álbum of desopranoyarpa duo is on anapproach to the profane musical legacy of the Sephardic people.
The Sephardim are the Jews (and descendants) who lived in the Crown of Castile and the Crown of Aragon until their expulsion in 1492 by the Catholic Monarchs of Spain. Those Sephardim who migrated to the Ottoman Empire and North Africa, among other places, carried their tradition, represented mainly by their language and musical heritage, elements that coincidentally spread through the air.
Concept
Starting points:
- Diaspora.
- Air as a transmission element.
- Profane nature of the album.
The proposal bases its strong idea on the concept of anemocoria, the strategy used by vegetables for the dispersal of seeds through the air, the same air through which songs spread. The seeds serve as a generator of the system and solve all the elements of the disc: album cover, label, posters, flyers, etc.)
